Nanaimo Privacy Graphics

After finishing their Grecian style wet room renovation, our Nanaimo clients wanted to create privacy on their toilet room door. Their request was beautifully specific: Privacy artwork that could act as a feature piece in the otherwise Grecian white washed aesthetic.

The water closet has small lights in the shape of a specific constellation, so the privacy print needed transparency at the top to still see these lights, but complete privacy below shoulder height, for obvious reasons.

We chose SS-Diamond Clear Optically Clear window film to print on because of its versatility with printing both transparencies and solid opacities. Our Graphic Designer created this custom Santorini artwork in black, white, and Grecian blue inks.

The sky area was converted to be optically clear, except for the whimsical white clouds floating amidst the constellations lights seen through the glazing.

We added SS-501 privacy frosting to another glass door in the shower area to hide their cleaning products and to complement the surrounding walls and tile flooring.
